The Message- Character Behaviour 1

Starting with Maya this term, we've been tasked with creating a short rendered sequence with a created character. We have to think about a character's back-story in order to justify how the character acts during the sequence. This is my simple character sheet.

This is Koya, a sample of the first complex organisms on a primordial alien planet. Evolution-wise, the planet's lifeforms have just emerged from the oceans, where they were simply bacteria and viruses. To this end, Koya is a very tiny creature who explores his alien environment. His body is atrophied, mainly due to his large backbone, and the only body parts which are mobile are his elastic, supple legs and suction pads. He has a tadpole-like tail too, but it is limp and uncontrolled by any of Koya's muscles. As I'm going to be modelling this in Maya, this makes it a relatively easy rigging job since only his legs are movable.
